Vineyard Bartinney
Bartinney is situated on the high Helshoogte Pass, above the picturesque Banghoek Valley in Stellenbosch. The passionately committed couple, Michael and Rose Jordaan, purchased the 40 ha large farm in 2006 with the vision of producing excellent wines and bringing back the charm of the enchanting estate.
The newly renovated boutique winery currently produces the award-winning Bartinney Sauvignon Blanc and its excellent Chardonnay, from grapes grown in vineyards located on the higher and cooler slopes. Bartinney's premium Cabernet Sauvignon is grown at lower altitudes in deep red soil. Bartiney's excellent wines are regularly awarded with prizes and recognition, making all wine lovers' hearts beat faster!
