This dry red wine presents pronounced, complex aromas of red and black fruits, currant leaves, licorice, vanilla, nutmeg, toast, cocoa beans, tobacco, and cigar boxes. Its full body, with high, ripe, rounded tannins, is very well balanced by a nicely integrated medium acidity. The finish is long and harmonious. This wine is at the beginning of its drinking window and will continue to evolve over the next 3-5 years, remaining cellar-worthy for an additional 3-5 years.
