The DeMorgenzon DMZ Chenin Blanc 2025 offers a classic expression of Chenin Blanc with vibrant floral aromas intertwined with a medley of Mediterranean stone fruits. Notes of citrus, green apple, and a hint of tropical fruits are seamlessly complemented by subtle oak integration. On the palate, expect flavours of ripe apricot and zesty citrus, revealing a solid structure and minerality. This medium-bodied white dazzles with a full-bodied texture, elegantly balanced by the crisp acidity characteristic of Chenin Blanc.
The grapes were cooled, gently destemmed, and crushed, then allowed to rest overnight on the skins. Fermentation occurred naturally in a blend of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for four to six months in barrel on the lees before release.
