Ernie Els The Big Easy Rosé 2025 captivates with its delicate pink hue and a bouquet alive with charming notes of strawberries, sour cherries, and cranberries, seamlessly intertwined with hints of melon and nectarine. On the palate, the vibrant fruit makes way for a refreshing mineral backbone complemented by zesty lemon acidity. This wine strikes an impressive balance between concentration and refreshment, leading to a crisp, dry finish that invigorates the senses.
Post-harvest, the grapes were meticulously sorted, de-stemmed, and gently crushed. Fermentation occurred at controlled temperatures between 12 - 14 °C in stainless steel tanks, utilizing a blend of different yeast strains. Following fermentation, the wine matured for two months in older oak barrels. During this period, fine lees contact enhanced its complexity while preserving its fresh and fruity character.
