With its deep, concentrated ruby hue, the Herdade dos Grous 23 Barricas envelops the glass, releasing a bouquet of intricate and delicate aromas. On the palate, these refined notes harmonize to reveal an elegant and balanced profile, showcasing soft tannins and a lengthy, satisfying finish. Crafted from the finest barrels of Syrah and Touriga Nacional, this wine is a testament to the exceptional terroir of Alentejo, where warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to reach optimal ripeness.
After harvest, the grapes were hand-sorted. Fermentation took place in new oak barrels - Touriga Nacional in French barrels and Syrah in American barrels. The wine matured for 12 months, after which the best 23 barrels of each variety were selected, blended, and bottled.
