The La Motte Chardonnay showcases a delicate straw hue, unfolding on the palate with delightful notes of juicy nectarine and fragrant citrus blossoms. Subtle hints of cashew and yeast intertwine, gently revealing the wine's oak maturation. With finesse and a captivatingly prolonged finish of zesty citrus and ripe peach, this Chardonnay vows to deliver an exquisite tasting experience.
The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, with two-thirds of the juice placed in French 300L barrels. The alcoholic fermentation was conducted at controlled temperatures of 17° to 20°C, and malolactic fermentation occurred in the barrels, using only 25% new oak, with the remainder being previously used barrels. The remaining third of the juice was fermented in stainless steel, aged for an additional 11 months with regular batonnage before the final wine blend.
