The La Petite Ferme Barrel Fermented Chardonnay entices with a fragrant bouquet of fresh lemons and limes, complemented by rich notes of white pear and a whisper of oak spice. This wine is a beautifully balanced and complex offering, showcasing mineral freshness alongside fruit-forward richness. Crafted from 60% grapes sourced from Franschhoek and 40% from Elim in Cape Agulhas, it beautifully marries the opulence of Franschhoek fruit with the crisp minerality and freshness of Elim.
Dieser Chardonnay reifte neun Monate lang in erst-, zweit- sowie drittbelegten Fässern aus französischer Eiche, wobei der Wein während der ersten drei Monate Reifezeit alle zwei Wochen aufgerührt wurde (batonnage), um so mehr an Komplexität und Fülle in den Wein zu übertragen.
