The Landskroon Paul de Villiers Cabernet Sauvignon captivates with a brilliant ruby red hue, exuding an inviting bouquet of earthy notes, sun-kissed mulberries, and ripe blackcurrants, complemented by delicate vanilla undertones. Five generations of passionate vintners have solidified Landskroon as a prestigious wine brand in Paarl. Current cellar master Paul de Villiers proudly continues this legacy as the fifth generation of his family.
The meticulously selected grapes were fully destemmed, fermented with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Regular punching down of the cap ensured extensive extraction of color and tannins. Post-fermentation, the wine matured for 16 months in a blend of 70% French and 30% American oak barrels, with 63% being new wood and 37% second-fill.
