The Landskroon Paul de Villiers Shiraz is a luscious, full-bodied wine that captivates with its seductive bouquet of ripe berry fruit. Aromas of blackberries and blueberries intertwine seamlessly with hints of black pepper and subtle oak spice. On the palate, the rich berry flavors are elegantly echoed, enhanced by nuanced layers of fine vanilla and spice, promising a delightful tasting experience.
Carefully selected grapes were destemmed and fermented in open steel tanks, adding selected yeast cultures at a controlled temperature of 25°C – 28°C. After fermentation, the wine matured for 15 months in a combination of 35% new American oak, 25% in new French barrels, and 40% in second-fill French barriques.
