Amica, derived from the Latin Amicus, can be described as a gathering of friends. It tells the story of friends sharing good food at a table. Neil Ellis Amica Sauvignon Blanc is a barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc influenced by wild (yeast) fermentation and maturation in French oak. The result is a complex, structured expression of the variety. Aromas of fruit blossoms are supported by notes of honeysuckle, pear and lemon peel, while the mouthfeel is fresh, textured and mineral.
