In Vinho Verde, the Mota family has made it their mission to produce first-class Vinho Verde wines with a distinctive character and consistent quality.
Their wine ranges Portal da Calςada, Lago and Edicão are very popular with their fresh and floral wines, both locally and internationally. The vineyards are located within Vinho Verde in the Amarante region, with some vines that have a proud age of almost 100 years. In Quinta da Calςadas winery, winemaker João Cabral Almeida produces wines and sparkling wines at the highest level of technology, where tradition and modernity join hands to produce authentic creations of absolute delicacy.
