The Quinta de Fafide Reserva Tinto 2023 is a quintessential Douro wine, showcasing both intensity and elegance. Aromas of red berry and plum compote dominate, reflecting the vibrant freshness of the grapes. On the palate, it achieves perfect balance, enriched by subtle oak notes and exceptional tannins, culminating in a long-lasting, satisfying finish.
The grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently crushed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28°C. A portion of the wine matured for 12 months in used American oak barrels.
