Vineyard Quinta do Pôpa
The family winery Quinta do Pôpa in Portugal's famous Douro region produces traditional Douro wines under the oenological direction of winemaker João Menezes, sommelier Finkus Bripp and wine consultant Luìs Pato in the Quinta do Pôpa, Black Edition and Homanagem series and under the Quinta do Pôpa Art Projects.
Centuries of tradition as well as the latest technology are married in the production of the winery's extensive wine portfolio, and so 70% of the grapes, which for some varieties come from vines well over 80 years old, are still tamped with traditional leg strength.
Numerous hours of sunshine, vineyards stretching along the Douro river, the fertile slate soil of the terroir and a deep passion for the region and its people, produce wines of first-class quality and unmistakable character, which have made a prestigious name for themselves both at home and internationally.
