The Rall Grenache Blanc 2024 is an exceptional wine that showcases the unique terroir of Piekenierskloof, where the vines are planted at an altitude of 620 meters. Fermented in concrete eggs, this single vineyard Grenache Blanc reveals delicate aromas of citrus, pear, orange peel, and herbs that entice the senses. On the palate, it offers a taut, structured core with savory hints that gracefully culminate in a textured and spiced finish. This seventh vintage continues to reflect the character of its origin, promising elegance and concentration.
The grapes were whole-bunch pressed and transferred to clay amphorae and concrete eggs for fermentation without settling. After eight months on the lees and bottling with minimal filtration, this special wine reveals a unique texture. Sourced from high-altitude bush vines planted in 1989 on the slopes of Piekenierskloof.
