The Ribeiro Santo Tinto 2022 delights with its vibrant violet-red hue and a bouquet of ripe red fruits, notably cherries and strawberries, accented by the characteristic floral notes of the Dão region. On the palate, it reveals excellent acidity intertwined with a velvety texture, culminating in a long, refreshing finish that invites another sip.
The grapes were hand-picked, de-stemmed, and soaked in small lagares for 24 hours at a low temperature. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for 15 days. The wine was then transferred to large stainless steel tanks where it rested until bottling.
