Radiating a brilliant ruby hue, the Vondeling Petit Rouge Merlot 2022 unveils vibrant aromas of lush cherries and subtle raspberries, complemented by hints of soft black pepper. Das Traubengut wurde entrappt aber nicht gequetscht und fermentierte bei kühlen Temperaturen, um so ein breites Spektrum an spritziger Frucht und Würze ohne schwere Tannine im Wein zu erhalten. Nach der Gärung wurde der Wein in 300 l Fässer aus französischer Eiche umgefüllt. Die malolaktische Fermentierung fand im Fass statt. Der Wein verbrachte eine Gesamtzeit von 13 Monaten in französischer Eiche bevor er verschnitten und zum fertigen Genuss in die Flasche abgefüllt wurde.
