The AA Badenhorst Secateurs Rosé is a truly distinctive expression crafted from old bush vines in the Swartland. A harmonious blend of Cinsault, Grenache Noir, and Shiraz showcases a romantic pink hue, revealing intricate layers of red berry minerality, refreshing watermelon, zesty lime, enticing spices, and fragrant rosewater. On the palate, it is generously textured and concludes with a long, pleasantly crisp finish.
Mourvèdre wird in den frühen Morgenstunden gelesen und am ganzen Bund sanft und langsam gepresst, um nicht allzuviel Farbe in den Wein zu übertragen. Die Beeren wurden leicht angequetscht und verbrachten zwei Stunden auf der Haut, bevor sie gepresst wurden. Der Saft wird in Tanks aus Edelstahlt- sowie Betontanks gepumpt und wird natürlich fermentiert. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurde der Wein vor Abfüllung auf die Flasche noch leicht geklärt und grob gefiltert.
