Alto Rouge captivates with its deep ruby hue, unveiling an intense bouquet of ripe blackberry, pine needles, and dried fig, complemented by subtle hints of smoked meat and fine oak spice. The 2023 vintage marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the 100th consecutive vintage of Alto Rouge. This full-bodied wine caresses the palate, showcasing soft, seductive tannins that are robust yet lend a refreshing vitality to its structure, ensuring the wine's remarkable aging potential.

The iconic Alto Rouge 2023 is crafted from a blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Shiraz, 23% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot.

Treatment in the cellar

The grapes were handpicked before fermentation at controlled temperatures between 25°C and 27°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged for 14-16 months in French oak barrels after fermentation.
