The Avondale Samsara Syrah delights the senses with intriguing aromas of soft oak, white pepper, fragrant violets, bright red berries, and hints of orange zest. On the palate, this full-bodied wine reveals subtle nuances of plum, cherry, clove, cinnamon, and pepper. Exceptionally well-balanced, it showcases a fruit-forward profile, complemented by firm tannins and a lively acidity that contribute to an impressively lengthy finish.
Das biologisch angebaute Traubengut wurde in den frühen Morgenstunden mit großer Sorgfalt gelesen. Bei Ankunft in der Kellerei wurden 10 -15 % der Trauben am ganzen Bund fermentiert während der restliche Anteil entrappt und zur Gärung in Tanks aus Edelstahl gegeben wurde. Nach Abschluss der natürlichen Gärung mit wärmeren Temperaturen zwischen 30 und 32 º C reifte der Wein 12-16 Monate lang in erst-, zweit- sowie drittbefüllten Fässern aus französischer Eiche. Auch die malolaktische Gärung fand ihren Abschluss im Fass. Der Wein wurde vor Abfüllung auf die Flasche noch leicht gefiltert.
