The Beeslaar Pinotage captivates with its vibrant ruby red hue, indicative of its youthful spirit. The nose is an enchanting bouquet of cherries, blackberries, cranberries, and dark fruits, harmonizing beautifully with warm notes of star anise, cinnamon, chocolate, and cedar wood. Its lush, velvety texture unfolds splendidly on the palate, revealing layers of complexity. It is advisable to decant this wine two hours before serving to allow its full character to emerge.

This Pinotage is characterized by both elegance and depth, and its impressive length promises a magnificent evolution over time.

Treatment in the cellar

The handpicked grapes were destemmed and meticulously selected before fermenting in open fermentation tanks of five tons each. Following pressing, malolactic fermentation occurred in barrels, comprised of 50% new French oak and 50% second-fill French oak. The wine matured for 20 months in French barriques.
