The Boekenhoutskloof Sémillon unveils a delicate golden hue, enchanting the senses with a bouquet of fragrant orange blossoms, ripe nectarines, aromatic lemongrass, and rich beeswax. On the palate, it begins softly, revealing enticing notes of white peaches, mandarin, fine lemon cream, lime syrup, ginger, blood orange, and tarragon. This remarkably full-bodied and opulent wine maintains a defined focus thanks to its well-balanced acidity, adding a delightful lift to the intensity of the mid-palate. It finishes vibrantly with a subtle saline touch, echoing notes of poached quince, chamomile flowers, and fenugreek.
Das Traubengut wurde bei optimalem Reifegrad per Hand gelesen. Die Gärung erfolgte in Barriques, Ton Amphoren und Beton-Lagares. Nach Abschluss der Fermentierung reifte der Wein 14 Monate lang bei einer geregelten Temperatur von 5 bis 8°C. Der kleine Anteil des Muscat d'Alexandrie wurde auf den Schalen vergoren und in Tonamphoren gereift.
