Gekeltert aus Portugals klassischsten Rebsorten kamen bei der Produktion für diesen feinen Cape Vintage Port traditionelle Vinifikationsmethoden zum Einsatz, um einen Wein im Port-Stil zu kreieren, der seinen Wurzel treu bleibt und über Jahrzehnte hinweg genossen werden kann. Das Traubengut wurde bei optimalem Reifegrad handgelesen und in traditionellen „Lagares“ vinfiziert. Während des Gärungsprozesses wurde der Tresterhut regelmäßig untergetaucht, um ein Optimum an Aromen, Farbe und Tannin in den Wein zu übertragen. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurde der Wein mit Alkohol aufgespritzt. Der Wein reifte zwei Jahre lang in großen Fässern aus französischer Eiche und wurde ungefiltert und unverfeinert auf die Flasche gefüllt.
80% Touriga Nacional, 10% Tinta Barocca, 5% Souzao, 5% Touriga Franca.
