The Boschendal 1685 Shiraz 2021 is a refined expression of this iconic varietal, showcasing a harmonious blend of deep fruit and subtle oak nuances. The wine fermented in stainless steel tanks for an average of 12 to 16 days, with extended skin contact for 1-2 weeks. Following malolactic fermentation, it was transferred directly into barrels, where 100% matured for 14 months in 300l oak barrels, with 30% new wood.
