The Boschendal Black Angus from the esteemed Boschendal Heritage Collection is an award-winning red wine blend, predominantly featuring Shiraz. The bouquet entices with welcoming aromas of ripe cherries and black pepper, promising a delightful experience before the first sip. On the palate, its full-bodied and complex structure showcases remarkable richness, complemented by delectable notes of cherry and plum, leading to a long, smooth finish.
The grapes underwent hand harvesting and were meticulously sorted upon arrival at the winery. Each variety was vinified separately, and after malolactic fermentation, matured for 18 months in a combination of new and used 300-liter oak barrels.
