The Bosman Generation 8 Merlot showcases a vivid violet core framed by a ruby rim, enticing the senses with a herbal bouquet of blackberries and plums. Secondary aromas reveal hints of dried herbs, fynbos, and cocoa that enrich the nose. Exhibiting a medium body, it offers a soft, velvety mouthfeel where ripe red and black fruits take center stage, complemented by subtle mocha notes. The wine’s soft, rounded tannins and balanced acidity ensure a harmonious and delightful drinking experience.
Das gekühlte Traubengut wurde nach dem Entrappen mit großer Sorgfalt handverlesen. Während des Fermentierungsvorgangs wurde der Tresterhut regelmäßig untergetaucht, um ein Optimum an Farbe und Aromenkonzentration in den Wein zu übertragen. Nach Abschluss der alkoholischen Gärung fand die malolaktische Fermentierung mit Kontakt auf französischem Eichenholz statt. Der Wein reifte sechs Monate in Barriquefässern.
