With a vibrant, gold-green hue accented by a lime-tipped rim, the Bosman Upper Hemel en Aarde Chardonnay expresses inviting aromas of warm butterscotch mingled with alluring notes of citrus blossoms, sweet pear, and freshly baked brioche. On the palate, these aromatic nuances seamlessly translate into a rich, yet delicate taste experience. The wine boasts an impressive mouthfeel that culminates in an extraordinarily creamy and mineral finish.
Treatment in the cellar
The cooled grapes were first pressed and the juice obtained was left to rest before selected yeasts were added to start fermentation. The fermentation process took place at a controlled cool temperature in order to preserve a high degree of freshness in the wine. 15% of the wine fermented for six months in new Burgundy barrels.
