This wine showcases a delightful concentration of fruit, with intriguing notes of ripe strawberries intertwined with cedar wood, smoky meats, and tobacco. This distinctive cuvée artfully marries a diverse array of noble French and Italian grape varieties, creating a harmonious sensory experience: 41% Sangiovese; 26% Nebbiolo; 14% Shiraz; 11% Pinot Noir; 5% Barbera; 3% Mourvèdre. The palate reveals immense complexity and concludes with a lingering, vibrant finish.

The name 'Hannibal' serves as a symbolic tribute to the synergy with the African elephant, which, under the command of the renowned Carthaginian general, once bridged the wine regions of France and Italy.

Treatment in the cellar

The various components of this cuvée were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks before undergoing malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The wine aged for a total of 12 months in French barriques. Following maturation, the wines were blended and bottled.
