The Brampton Roxton Black is a strikingly pure Cabernet Sauvignon, presenting an intense dark ruby hue. The vibrant and profound bouquet reveals enticing aromas of ripe black fruits, subtle hints of oak, and aromatic herbs, leading to a notably masculine presence on the palate. A succulent core seamlessly integrates the oak component with alluring spice and balanced tannins, granting this full-bodied Cabernet remarkable depth and complexity. Its richly opulent texture and impressively lengthy finish elevate the overall tasting experience.
The hand-harvested grapes were completely destemmed and underwent a meticulous quality check before fermenting in stainless steel tanks for seven to ten days at controlled temperatures of 26–28°C, with regular pump-overs and aeration. After fermentation, the must rested for an additional month to extract mature, rounded tannins and rich color. The wine matured for 14-16 months in French oak barrels (30% new oak).
