Its generous fruit profile reveals notes of lemon, mandarin, and ripe nectarines, while the coastal landscape's essence unfolds with hints of seaweed and a fresh, salty ocean breeze, characteristic of Cape Point. Delicate nuances of fragrant spring and elderflower blossom, accompanied by subtle touches of gentle oak aging, add layers of complexity to this wine. Das Traubengut wurde in den frühen Morgenstunden handgelesen, am ganzen Bund gepresst und der dabei gewonnene Saft nach einer zwölfstündigen Ruhephase im Fass vinifiziert. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 16 Monate lang in alter französischer Eiche auf der feinen Hefe, wobei die Hefe für ein optimales Mundgefühl regelmäßig auf- und untergerührt wurde.
