The Casa Ferreirinha Papa Figos Tinto 2023 boasts a vibrant ruby red hue and an intense bouquet, featuring floral notes of rockrose complemented by ripe red fruit aromas such as plum and strawberry. Subtle hints of cedar and spices contribute to its delicate complexity, derived from an understated maturation in oak barrels. Nach der Ernte von Hand wurden die Trauben entrappt, leicht gequetscht und in Edelstahltanks bei einer kontrollierten Temperatur von 28 °C vergoren.
Abschließend endet die Weinbereitung mit der malolaktischen Gärung, die unter idealen Hygiene- und Temperaturbedingungen stattfand. Nach den letzten
Gärungen blieb die ausgewählte Weine den ganzen Winter über in Edelstahltanks. In dieser Zeit wurde dank der niedrigen natürlichen Temperaturen eine
natürliche Klärung durch Sedimentation grober Partikel erreicht. Etwa 25 % des Weins reiften 12 Monate in gebrauchten fässern aus französischer Eiche.
