Modern, youthful, and vibrant! The Castelfeder Mont Mes Cuvée Rosso 2023 showcases the innovative spirit of the new generation of winemakers at Castelfeder. This fruit-forward cuvée encapsulates the essence of South Tyrolean red varieties: a striking garnet-red hue enriched with violet undertones from Lagrein, complemented by a complex bouquet of dried fruits, cherries, and licorice derived from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, it is pleasant, powerful, and notably elegant, finishing beautifully with the finesse of Pinot Noir.
Hand-harvested, destemmed, 10–14 days of maceration in stainless steel with separate vinification of each grape variety. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks.
