The Cederberg Shiraz from South Africa's renowned Cederberg region is a compelling balance of richness and complexity. Vibrant, ripe red fruits are layered with spice notes of cloves, Moroccan seasonings, and freshly cracked black pepper. This aromatic profile resonates on the palate, culminating in a long, smooth finish infused with hints of olives and umami nuances. A truly spectacular Shiraz!
After controlled fermentation at a maximum of 28ºC, the wine aged for 15 months in 225 L barrels, with 45% new oak, 45% second-fill, and 10% third-fill. 96% of the barrels were French oak, while 4% were American.
