Cloof The Very Sexy Shiraz 2024 exudes an intense bouquet of complex spices, with cloves and black pepper emerging prominently. In the glass, it showcases a deep, dark ruby hue, caressing the palate with an exceptionally smooth tannin structure—remarkably concentrated and enticing flavors unfold. The lush fruit character intertwines beautifully with delicate floral notes and the refined nuances of premium French oak, culminating in a long, fruity finish that is pleasingly dry.
This full-bodied wine, characterized by the typical intense spiciness of the Shiraz grape, hails from the Darling wine region of South Africa—a locale celebrated as the 'Shiraz heaven.' Thus, not only is the wine's name alluring, but so too is the exceptional tasting experience it offers.
This Shiraz underwent a two-day cold soak at a constant 10ºC before fermenting on the skins for eight days at 30ºC, separating free-run and pressed juice. Following fermentation, malolactic fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine aged for 12 months in oak barrels.

Macht seinen Namen alle Ehre…
sehr gut gedecktes Rubinrot, klar. Würzig klare feine Nase nach dunklen Beeren und Kräuter. Am Gaumen saftig und würzig, frisch und elegant, dicht und fein. Zeigt auch Finesse. Insgesamt fein und elegant. Dicht. Schöne Länge. Hat Schmelz und Struktur.
