The David & Nadia Elpidios 2023 is an exquisite Swartland blend, created by the esteemed David & Nadia Sadie. This masterful cuvée features a harmonious interplay of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault, and Pinotage, delivering a full-bodied wine with a velvety texture and an intoxicating Rhône-style profile. On the palate, it reveals layers of ripe blackberries, effervescent raspberries, and a bouquet of wild herbs, framed by a vibrant acidity and well-structured tannins that enhance its complexity.
Dieser Jahrgang beinhaltet wieder eine Portion Grenache und Syrah die in einem Beton-Ei / Gefäß fermentiert und gereift wurden. Der Wein wurde auch in neutralen, älteren 500L französischen Eichenfässer gereift; der Pinotage Anteil in 4000L foudres. Nach dem Abfüllen reifte der Wein zuerst 18 Monate in der Flasche.
