DeMorgenzon DMZ Syrah 2022 enchants the eye with its vibrant hues of deep violet adorned with a zesty blue rim. A luxurious array of ripe berry aromas intertwines with the essence of dark plums and a whisper of white pepper, drawing you in with its complexity. Subtle floral notes of violet and lavender emerge delicately from the background, adding to the wine's allure. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied, lavish profile, layered with rich berry fruit and enriched by warm spices, including pepper, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla. Well-integrated oak notes enhance the wine's immense elegance and rounded harmony, making this Syrah truly captivating.
Die Trauben für den DeMorgenzon Syrah wurden handgelesen und entrappt und fermentierten in Tanks aus Edelstahl. Ein kleiner Anteil des Traubenguts wurde am ganzen Bund fermentiert. Die Temperatur während des Gärungsprozesses wurde auf geregelten 22°C und 27°C gehalten. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurde der Wein auf der Haut abgepresst und die malolaktische Fermentation wurde im Fass beendet. Anschließend reifte der Wein 12 Monate in einer Kombination aus kleinen französischen Barriques, 3000 L Foudré Fässern und Betontanks.
