With a delicate straw hue highlighted by fresh green reflections, the Spier Signature Chardonnay flows elegantly into the glass, releasing enchanting aromas of peach, Golden Delicious apples, and ripe pears. On the palate, it showcases a creamy and full-bodied mouthfeel enriched by complex layers of exciting fruit nuances like grapefruit and zesty lime. The harmonious interplay of acidity lends itself to a well-rounded and soft finish, while an intriguing oyster-shell-like minerality completes this lively wine.
The grapes for the Spier Signature Chardonnay underwent temperature-controlled fermentation with selected yeast cultures in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine matured for an additional two months on the fine lees before being bottled for your enjoyment. 5% of the wine was fermented in French oak barrels.
