Radford Dale Vinum Chenin Blanc 2024 enchants the nose with a refined elegance. Fresh and vibrant aromas of yellow peaches intermingle with delicate notes of pear and citrus peel, creating a complex and inviting bouquet. On the palate, this Chenin Blanc is generously weighted, featuring delightful flavor nuances of fragrant citrus fruit, harmoniously balanced by a crisp, refreshing acidity and subtle saline undertones. The finish is long-lasting and clean, accompanied by a fine minerality. The core of this wine is sourced from a vineyard planted in 1969!
Sustainability Note: In line with Radford Dale's increasing focus on sustainable practices, all Vinum wines are bottled in eco-friendly, lightweight glass (396 g) with recyclable screw caps.
The grapes were handpicked with meticulous care for the following production process. The fully destemmed fruit was gently pressed, and the juice was left to rest in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. Seventy percent of the juice underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while thirty percent was vinified in small Burgundy barrels (second, third, and fourth fill). After alcoholic fermentation was complete, both components were blended and bottled.
