Das Traubengut für diesen Pinot Noir wurde einer zweitägigen Kaltquellphase unterzogen und fermentierte anschließend fünf Tage lang bei einer geregelten Temperatur von 24-28°C. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein zehn Monate lang in Fässern aus französischer Eiche, von denen 20% Neuholz ausmachten, der restliche Anteil zweit- sowie drittbelegtes Holz.
