The Fairview Pinotage 2023 captivates with its youthful ruby hue, enticing the senses with classic aromas of red cherries, berries, and plums, complemented by a whisper of oak spice. Treatment in the cellar
The grapes were picked over several days to ensure perfect maturity of each
block. Bunches were destalked and lightly crushed before fermentation in
stainless steel tanks and open top wooden foudres. After malolactic
fermentation was completed, the wine spent 16 months in 15% new French
and a small percentage of older American oak barrels, before blending and
bottling.
