The FRAM Shiraz is a quintessential Swartland expression, embodying the essence of 'Shiraz country.' The journey begins with vivid red fruit notes that gracefully evolve into darker berry tones. Luscious red currants intertwine with cassis and hints of black cherries, complemented by an intriguing medley of white and brown spices, along with subtle meaty undertones. The aromatic profile is enriched with coriander, clove, and black pepper, while the firm yet delicate tannins distinctly highlight the Swartland origin of this captivating wine.
The FRAM Shiraz matured for nine months in stainless steel after fermentation in older French barriques. A small percentage (5%) of Mourvèdre and Grenache Noir was blended in.
