The nose reveals lush ripe blueberries intertwined with subtle spice from the Pinot Noir, complemented by a creamy complexity from a touch of Chardonnay. A vibrant explosion of strawberries and delicate honeysuckle notes on the palate is enhanced by a persistent yet gentle mousse.
Presented in a magnum bottle, it embodies the spirit of celebration, instantly creating an impressive atmosphere of generosity and conviviality! These unique 1.5-liter bottles are also perfectly suited for aging and maturing a Cap Classique wine. The larger glass surface facilitates intensified contact between the yeast cells in the bottle, allowing for a slower breakdown of these cells, resulting in better integration of carbon dioxide, which enhances finesse and refines the bubbles.
Eine Premiere für Südafrika, da Pinot Noir und Chardonnay zusammen in derselben Presse gekeltert wurden. Durch die fraktionierte Gewinnung aus ganzen Trauben wurde sichergestellt, dass nur der beste Saft zur Gärung verwendet wurde.
Nach der Gärung wurde der Wein leicht geklärt und für die zweite Gärung in Flaschen abgefüllt, woraufhin er vier Jahre lang auf der Hefe lag.
