The Holden Manz Chenin Blanc 2023 presents a delicate golden hue, inviting you into an elegant bouquet brimming with notes of ripe pineapple, vibrant citrus, and crisp Granny Smith apple. Hints of white blossoms and river stones enhance the aromatic profile, complemented by subtle nuances of buttery toast and fine oak. On the palate, it showcases a medium body with a beautifully balanced acidity, offering a delightful interplay of flavors that culminate in a long-lasting finish, providing a truly enjoyable experience.
Das handgelesene Traubengut stammt zu 100% von über 40 Jahre alten Buschreben und wurde bei Ankunft in der Kellerei zunächst auf 5ºC runtergekühlt, bevor es gequetscht und der Saft für die weitere Produktion in eine Kombination aus Eichenfässern und Edelstahltanks gefüllt wurde. Der Wein fermentierte ausschließlich durch die auf der Frucht und in der Umgebung vorkommende natürliche Hefe und reifte anschließend in sowohl neuen als auch zuvorbelegten französischen Barriques auf der feinen Hefe. Während der Reifung wurde die Hefe regelmäßig aufgerührt, um eine üppige Fülle und reiche Komplexität in den Wein zu übertragen.
