With its deep purple hue accented by ruby edges, the Holden Manz Syrah Reserve 2019 reveals an enchanting bouquet of fragrant violets and forest berries, intertwined with lavender notes. Luxurious and rich, this exceptional Syrah showcases a well-defined balance between oak and fruit on the palate, offering delightful layers of dark blackberry and spice. Its finish is long-lasting and pleasantly dry, while the harmonious acidity and robust tannic structure beautifully complement this remarkable wine.
Hand-picked fruit from the most concentrated Syrah grapes underwent an extended cold soak prior to fermentation. The grapes were naturally fermented with wild yeast as whole bunches. The wine matured for 12 months in 500L French oak barrels, of which 50% were new, followed by another 12 months in 225L French oak barrels before bottling.
