Its vibrant acidity ensures a long, finely textured finish that lingers with pleasure. This Chenin Blanc hails from Keermont's oldest vineyards, planted in 1971, nestled along the banks of the upper Blaauwklippen River, where the soil comprises alluvial deposits and red clay. At an elevation of 250 meters, this historic vineyard consistently yields exceptional fruit of outstanding quality.
The hand-harvested grapes for this enchanting Chenin Blanc come exclusively from Keermont's riverbank vineyards, vinified separately by block and ripeness. Fermentation occurred gently and traditionally in open fermenters. Post-fermentation, the wine matured for 12 months on its lees in French barriques and was bottled unfiltered by hand.
