Grown at an elevation of 300 meters on fertile red clay soils rich in iron and quartz, the Steepside Syrah vineyards benefit from intense sun exposure. This unique terroir delivers boldly structured wines with a splendidly herbal and peppery aromatic profile.
Das handgelesene Traubengut für diesen meisterlichen Syrah stammt zu 100 % aus Keermonts eigenen Weinbergen und wurde je nach Reb-Block und Reifegrad separat vinifiziert. Der Gärungsvorgang fand auf natürliche, traditionelle und besonders behutsame Art und Weise in offenen Fermentern statt. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 20 Monate lang in französischen Barriques (500 l) und wurde anschließend ungefiltert per Hand auf die Flasche gefüllt
