The Ken Forrester The Gypsy is a quintessential Rhône blend, artfully combining Grenache and Shiraz to reveal an astonishingly complex concentration and a deep core of fruit. With a slightly 'wild' character reminiscent of forest berries, this masterful wine presents elegant notes of muscat, cinnamon, rose petals, and alluring hints of vanilla. The palate is defined by delightful nuances of red plums and blackberry, making this wine a captivating experience. Decant before serving to fully appreciate its intricacies.
The grapes underwent a cold maceration phase before fermentation commenced. Post-fermentation, the wine aged for 12 months in new French barriques, followed by a selection of barrels to create the blend. The cuvée matured in a cool cellar for an additional 12 months in barrel and a further two years in bottle.

Hervorragender Rotwein
Extrem gut ausbalancierter und vollmundiger Wein. Fett! Die Tannine sind sehr gut eingebunden, der Geschmack erinnert an die guten französischen Grand Cru Weine. Nur voller im Geschmack. Klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn man einen Genusswein liebt. Zum Essen eigentlich viel zu schade....
