Product information "Ken Forrester The Gypsy 2018"

The Ken Forrester The Gypsy is a typical Rhône cuvée from the Grenache and Shiraz varieties and convinces with an immensely complex concentration and deep fruit core. With a slightly "wild" character reminiscent of wild blackberries, this masterful wine presents itself with a hint of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices and wonderfully fragrant hints of vanilla. The focus here is distinctly on delicious nuances of red, ripe fruit. Decant before drinking.

Treatment in the cellar

The grapes were subjected to a cold swelling phase before fermentation began. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was matured for 12 months in new French barriques, after which the barrels were further selected and the wines blended. The cuvée then matured in the cool cellar for another 12 months in the barrel and another 2 years in the bottle.

Hervorragender Rotwein

Extrem gut ausbalancierter und vollmundiger Wein. Fett!
