The Ken Forrester Three Halves is an exceptional Rhône-style blend crafted from the classic varieties Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Shiraz. Mourvèdre takes center stage, imparting a captivating earthiness to the wine, while the smaller portion of Grenache adds vibrant fruitiness, and Shiraz contributes warm, spicy undertones. Ken Forrester Wines is renowned for a meticulous selection of unique and remarkable blends, with Ken himself focused on Mediterranean-style creations from the finest grapes of the Cape. Here, the blend of the 'three halves' transcends the sum of its parts.
Die Trauben für den Ken Forrester Three Halves wurden mit großer Sorgfalt und jeder Menge Expertise per Hand gelesen. Dabei wurden ausschließlich die ersten ausgereiften Beeren ausgewählt. Bei Ankunft im Keller wurde das Traubengut zunächst einer Kaltquellphase unterzogen. Der Wein reifte 18 Monate in zweitbefüllten Fässern aus französischer Eiche.
