The Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon reveals an exquisite blend of rich, dark fruit profiles, featuring ripe plum and enticing notes of cassis, intertwined with subtle hints of the herbaceous Fynbos and fresh mint. This inviting bouquet extends gracefully to the palate, complemented by layers of fragrant cedarwood and delicate spices, delivering a luxurious, full-bodied experience. The grapes were handpicked with meticulous care, sorting each berry to ensure only the finest fruit advanced through the production process. The selected grapes were destemmed and transferred according to terroir into stainless steel tanks and open lagares, where the juice was regularly pumped over for optimal extraction of color and aromas. Following primary fermentation, a three-week maceration took place before pressing. The wine matured in French oak barrels for 20 months (75% new wood, 25% second and third fill).
