The L'Avenir Single Block Pinotage 2021 captivates with its inviting bouquet of delicate violets, potpourri, dried cranberry, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it offers vibrant and rich fruit notes of fresh cherries alongside a gentle hint of spice and well-integrated oak nuances. Its full-bodied structure is enhanced by fine, velvety tannins, culminating in a long-lasting and pleasantly soft finish. Crafted from a registered single vineyard, this wine is a true expression of Stellenbosch terroir.
This esteemed Pinotage underwent fermentation at a controlled 32°C, partially in stainless steel tanks and partially in oak barrels. After completing alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French barriques, the wine aged for 18 months in first- and second-fill French oak barrels as well as in stainless steel tanks.
