The La Bri Merlot enchants with its rich garnet hue and an intriguing bouquet. Aromas of smoky bacon, violet, and ripe mulberries come together in a complex nose. On the palate, it reveals a juicy, supple freshness complemented by hints of dark chocolate. The well-integrated tannins and structured acidity lead to a lingering finish. The label features the Cape March Lily (Amarylis belladonna), a native and elegant pink flower. The hand-harvested grapes fermented under temperature control in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, malolactic conversion occurred in barrels, where the wine aged for 16 months in French oak barriques, 24% of which were new.
