The La Bri Merlot enchants with its rich garnet hue and an intriguing bouquet. Aromas of smoky bacon, violet, and ripe mulberries come together in a complex nose. On the palate, it reveals a juicy, supple freshness complemented by hints of dark chocolate. The well-integrated tannins and structured acidity lead to a lingering finish. The label features the Cape March Lily (Amarylis belladonna), a native and elegant pink flower. Das handgelesene Traubengut fermentierte temperaturgeregelt in Tanks aus Edelstahl. Nach Abschluss der Gärung fand die malolaktische Fermentierung im Fass statt und der Wein reifte anschließend 16 Monate lang in französischen Barriques mit einer Füllmenge von 300 l pro Fass. 24% der französischen Eichenfässern bestanden aus Neuholz.
